Built in the mid-17th century, Hotel Casona Misiones reflects the colonial heyday of the city of Querétaro. It features a chandelier that is unique in Mexico, as well as a beautiful chapel with Baroque details. History tells us that it served as a convent for nuns during the 18th and 19th centuries, until the time of the Revolution, when the building was looted and left in ruins.
