The Icefjord is home to one of the largest and most active glaciers in the world – its 3, 000 km2 mass moves forward by approximately 40 metres a day. The glacier calves off approximately 10% of all the icebergs that drift out to sea from Greenland and is unmatched by any other glacier in the world.
