Located in a small village named Digampathaha, the hotel Lions Rock enjoys a great location in Central Sri Lanka, with marvellous views of the spectacular rock fortress of Sigiriya, UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important places in Sri Lankan history. Another UNESCO World Heritage site, the Golden Temple of the beautiful town of Dambulla, the largest and best-preserved cave temple of Sri Lanka, can be reached within a 20-minute drive. Various national parks famous for wild elephants are also within easy reach. The hotel offers cosy and comfortable accommodation in a peaceful environment. The rooms are well-appointed and feature air-conditioning, fans and private balconies. There are barbecue facilities and the open-air restaurant serves delightful local and international dishes surrounded by lush greenery.
