Simple and practical rooms include a sink, mirror, closet, shelf, desk, chair, and window. Linen, towels, and a breakfast buffet are included. Shared bathrooms, separated for men and women, are located on each floor. Guests also enjoy free use of an internet station in the lobby. Half of the rooms offer quiet garden views of the university area, while the other half boasts city views, including the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church and Perlan viewpoint. Arriving by car? Drive into Reykjavik on Miklabraut (which turns into Hringbraut) towards Seltjarnarnes. Gardur Inn is on the left side of Hringbraut, just before the roundabout by the University of Iceland, National Museum, and Radisson Hotel Saga. Circle the roundabout and return about 20 meters on Hringbraut to find the entrance next to the National Museum. The guesthouse is a large, white, three-story building, clearly marked with Hotel on the white tower and Gardur Inn - Inns of Iceland above the entrance. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse and around the university campus. The Flybus from Keflavik Airport stops at Gardur Inn upon request (additional charges apply).
