It has maintained many of its Moorish features, such as a lovely interior courtyard with a fountain. Famous Djemma el Fna square is only 400 metres away; the traditional markets can be reached within a 2-minute stroll. Ben Youssef Madrasa with its 16th-century Islamic architecture is within a 10-minute walk. A wonderful place to start exploring this fascinating city.
