This 42-room business hotel is one of the most charming in Europe, housed as it is in a unique, fully restored castle where luxury, ambiance and art come together. The approximately 13-hectare estate was occupied by noble families as far back as 1236. Between 1937 and 1999 it served as a magnificent retreat for nuns. After a major 4-year renovation it reopened its gates to visitors. Communal spaces include the café, pub, disco, casino and games room, and an auditorium is also available for guests' use. Additional services include a hairdressing salon and newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car may like to take advantage of the hotel garage, and bicycles can be hired for excursions in the vicinity. Each of the rooms comes with a shower, bath and hairdryer, and each has a double or king-size bed. Standard features of all rooms include a direct dial telephone, TV, Internet access and a safe.
