The well-preserved old Venetian town of Rethymno, with its splendid castle, is a half-hour drive away, and guests will enjoy exploring the nearby village of Drosia, famous for its many lively tavernas serving traditional Cretan fare. The villas themselves have been built using local stone and timber and feature air-conditioning, bathrooms with hot tubs, as well as fully-fitted kitchens and open fireplaces. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of magnificent Mount Psiloritis and the wooded valley below from their private verandas. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and sundeck. The owners will prepare guests the breakfast of their choice from a varied morning buffet and deliver it directly to their rooms. 24/7 room service is also available.
