Formerly the residence of the first Viscount of Beirós, Casa do Condado de Beirós was dedicated to the King of Portugal Dom Afonso IV and it keeps memories of its past times, when it hosted the most distinguished and sophisticated society of the nation. Its present owner, a vintage car collector, shares his enthusiasm with a small museum including one rare Cadillac once owned by the American rock'n roll legend Elvis Presley. Recently renovated to a very high standard of modern comfort, it retains the atmosphere of a traditional stately home and is the ideal getaway to rest, walk, hike or indulge in mountain sports.
