The Hermitage complex of 216 guest rooms offers visitors a wide range of accommodation options from premium hotel rooms to mid-range accommodation, comfortable one and two room motel units and A-framed chalets. The Panorama Room offers a quality dining experience whilst the Alpine Restaurant offers sumptuous buffets. Both restaurants afford diners views of Aoraki Mount Cook. The Snowline Lounge serves cocktails, as well as an extensive selection of wines and beers. Adjoining the hotel lobby is a retail centre which offers a wide range of items, from souvenirs and excellent gift ideas to basic grocery and personal items. Also within the hotel complex are the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre with New Zealand's first full dome digital Planetarium, 3D Theatre, Museum and Hillary Gallery.
