The nearest beaches are those of Vagueira and Areão, 1,5 km away, rich in natural attractions and which offer the chance of watching wild grey herons while you lie in the sun. These beaches are also widely appreciated by surfers and bodyboarders. You must not miss the Xávega Art, the region's traditional fishing and, in Vagos, we recommend a visit to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora de Vagos, the chapels of Senhora da Misericórdia, Santo António and the Torre Militar. The area's excellent gastronomy is another reason for a visit.
