Visitors may wish to climb the carved rock stair steps to visit the various monasteries set high on the rocks, many dating back to the 15th century and some still inhabited today. The hotel is only seven minutes' walk from the town centre and ten minutes from the village of Kastraki, each with quaint local taverns serving delectable local cuisine. Guests can enjoy a full breakfast and coffee in the pretty garden or the main dining room, or order room service for a little added privacy.
