The bar is also nice for a drink or a snack. The terrace is lovely in summer, when weather is sunny and the surrounding area is in bloom. Esch-sur-Sûre is a pretty characteristic village with a medieval castle and its ancient church. The green setting makes the area a wonderful place for lovers of nature. Upstream from the village is the barrage and lake, ideal for water sports enthusiasts. The lake is lined with beautiful beaches for a nice swim.
