The hotel provides 250 spacious rooms and suites, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium, catering to both business and leisure travelers. As of December 1, 2016, Sunway Hotel Georgetown is a smoke-free hotel, with smoking permitted only in designated outdoor areas. A room recovery fee of RM400. 00 applies to non-compliance. Effective September 1, 2018, rates quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) are subject to a 10% service charge, a 6% Sales & Services Tax, and a Local Government Fee of RM3 per room per night. A Tourism Tax of RM10. 00 per room per night also applies to non-Malaysian guests.
