Original elements such as oak-beamed ceilings, stone walls, ancient wine presses and frescoes coexist with modern Italian furnishings by brands including Flos, Lago, Gervasoni and B&B Italia, alongside artworks by British-Brazilian artist Olivier Mourao and the owners’ private collection of antiques and reclaimed pieces. Designed for couples, friends and families seeking an authentic Sicilian experience, Monaci delle Terre Nere offers estate wines, organic cuisine prepared with locally grown ingredients, and immersive experiences connected to Etna and Sicilian culture. Among the latest developments are an innovative vertical wine cellar created inside the historic cistern of the Baronial House, seven heated private pools powered by an expanded solar energy system, and exclusive private villas combining complete privacy with the services of a luxury hotel, including private chef, butler service and helicopter tours over Mount Etna departing directly from the estate.
