The castle's oldest sections date back to the mid-16th century. Guests can enjoy the tranquil island setting, surrounded by nature and native deer. The estate offers a range of luxurious accommodations. The two-story Castle Garden Lodges are a 2-minute drive from the main castle. Each lodge features three double bedrooms upstairs and an open-plan kitchen/living area downstairs. Designed to maximize space and light, the ground floor boasts porcelain tiling and underfloor heating, creating a seamless flow throughout. Full-height doors and a glazed wall flanking the timber staircase lead to a light-filled upper level. Upstairs, floating ceilings with integrated lighting and high-gloss fixtures add a contemporary touch. Each lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, and a dining area for six. Please note that portable/disposable BBQs are not permitted. A €5 resort and island fee is payable upon departure. A daily gas and electricity charge also applies: €7. 00 per day from January to June and September to December, and €5. 00 per day in July and August.
