About this hotel

The owners, Frans and Ronel, decided to open Oppiplot Guest House after their “fleet of kids” moved on. They were left alone in this huge house with flatlets, indoor pool and outside entertainment area. They converted one 4 bedroom unit as a start. Due to popular demand they soon needed to expand. The owners, Frans and Ronel, decided to open Oppiplot Guest House after their “fleet of kids” moved on. They were left alone in this huge house with flatlets, indoor pool and outside entertainment area. They converted one 4 bedroom unit as a start. Due to popular demand they soon needed to expand. Their first International Group of Guests booked for two weeks and consisted of 24 guests for bed and breakfast. This gave them only 3 months to convert 2 more units with 6 extra bedrooms and 2 more bedrooms in the main residence to be able to host all of their guests. The complete Guest House project was managed by the owners from start to finish. The interior decorating, hand made headboards, bed side tables, paintings etc. was done by the owners themselves. All rooms were done with lots of love and very long hours.
