Frequently Asked Questions

Both expats and UAE nationals can apply for a Cuba visa from Dubai without any restrictions. Your residency status in the UAE (employment visa, visit visa, or citizenship) does not affect your eligibility to apply for a Cuba visa. At Green Apple Travel & Tourism, we process applications for all residents of the UAE, including expats from any nationality. Simply provide your valid passport, completed application form, and supporting documents, and we'll handle the submission to the Cuban authorities from our office in Bur Dubai.

You'll need your original passport (valid for at least 6 months), a completed Cuba visa application form, 2 recent passport-sized photographs (4x6 cm), proof of accommodation in Cuba (hotel booking or invitation letter), return flight tickets or flight itinerary, and evidence of financial means (bank statement or credit card statement from the last 3 months). If you're employed in the UAE, a letter from your employer confirming your leave is also helpful. We provide a complete checklist when you contact us via WhatsApp, and our team can guide you on which documents are most critical for fast approval.

Standard Cuba visa processing from Dubai typically takes 5–7 working days from the date of submission to the Cuban authorities. However, expedited processing is available for an additional fee, reducing the timeline to 2–3 working days if needed. The exact timeline depends on the current workload at the Cuban consulate and whether your application requires additional verification. We'll provide you with a realistic estimate and keep you updated via WhatsApp throughout the process so you know exactly when your visa will be ready for pickup or delivery.

Cuba offers both single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas, though the tourist visa issued from the UAE is typically single-entry and valid for 30 days. If you require a multiple-entry visa or a longer validity period, you'll need to apply for a specific business or professional visa, which involves different documentation and higher fees. We can advise you on which visa type suits your travel plans and submit the appropriate application. Contact us on WhatsApp to discuss your specific needs, and we'll provide a customized quote if a multiple-entry option is necessary.

The Cuba visa application fee starts at AED 850, which covers our service fee, document verification, and submission to the Cuban consulate in Dubai. This is a transparent, all-inclusive price with no hidden charges—what you see is what you pay. Additional costs apply only if you request expedited processing (2–3 days instead of 5–7 days) or if you require courier delivery outside Dubai. We also offer FREE pickup and delivery within Dubai, so you don't need to visit the visa centre yourself unless you're submitting biometric data in person.

You do not need to visit the visa centre in person—Green Apple Travel & Tourism can submit your complete application on your behalf. We collect your documents (with FREE pickup service throughout Dubai), verify everything, and submit directly to the Cuban consulate's processing centre. The only exception is if biometric data or an in-person interview is specifically requested by the Cuban authorities, which is rare for tourist visas. Once processed, we'll deliver your passport with the visa stamp back to you for free within Dubai, making the entire process completely hassle-free.

Cuba does not offer visa-on-arrival for UAE residents or most nationalities; you must obtain your visa before traveling from the UAE. Attempting to board your flight without a valid Cuba visa will result in denial of boarding by the airline. Applying through Green Apple before your departure ensures you have your visa in hand and can board your flight to Havana without any issues. We recommend applying at least 10 days before your intended travel date to account for processing time and any potential delays.

If your application is rejected by the Cuban authorities, our service fee of AED 850 is non-refundable, as we have already processed and submitted your application. However, rejection is rare if all documents are complete and accurate—we minimize this risk by thoroughly reviewing your application before submission. If rejection occurs, we'll provide you with detailed feedback on the reason and advise you on whether reapplication is recommended or if you need additional documentation. We encourage you to discuss any concerns with us on WhatsApp before applying to ensure your eligibility and document completeness.

Yes, absolutely—you can complete the entire process remotely without visiting our office. Simply contact us via WhatsApp with your details and document list, we'll provide instructions for document submission (by courier, in-person at a convenient time, or scanned copies for initial review), collect your originals with FREE pickup, and handle everything from there. You can communicate with us entirely through WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll keep you updated at every stage. Once your visa is ready, we'll deliver it back to your address in Dubai at no extra cost.

The Cuba tourist visa issued from the UAE is a traditional sticker visa—a physical stamp and visa label placed directly in your passport by the Cuban consulate. There is no e-visa or digital option for Cuba at this time, so you'll receive your passport back with the visa clearly visible for customs inspection upon arrival. This is why we collect your original passport, have it stamped at the consulate, and return it to you once the visa is ready. Always ensure your passport is in good condition and has blank pages available for the visa stamp before submission.
