Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, absolutely. As an expat working in the UAE on a valid employment visa, you can apply for a Romania Schengen visa from Dubai without any issues. You'll need to submit your current UAE visa copy, employment letter from your employer in Dubai, and your passport along with other standard documents. We handle applications from all visa categories in the UAE, including employment visa holders, freelancers, and business visa holders. Simply WhatsApp us your details and we'll guide you through the specific documents your employer needs to provide.

You'll need your original passport (valid for at least 6 months), completed visa application form (which we provide), passport-sized photographs, proof of accommodation in Romania, travel itinerary, return flight booking, travel insurance with minimum EUR 30,000 coverage, bank statements showing financial capacity (typically last 3 months), and an employment letter or business registration if self-employed. If you're employed in Dubai, include your UAE employment visa copy and letter from your employer confirming leave approval. We'll provide you with a complete checklist when you contact us, and our team can advise if any additional documents are needed for your specific situation.

Standard processing takes approximately 15 working days from the date your application is submitted to the Romanian embassy processing centre in Dubai. During peak travel seasons (April to September), processing can sometimes extend to 18-20 working days, so we recommend applying at least 4-6 weeks before your travel date. We offer express processing (10 working days) for an additional fee if you need your visa urgently. Once processed, we'll deliver your passport with the stamped visa directly to your doorstep in Dubai at no extra cost.

Our service starts at AED 850, which includes our visa consultation, document review, application form completion, and submission to the official processing centre. The Romanian government's visa fee (currently around EUR 80 for a tourist visa) is additional and is paid separately. We also offer free pickup and delivery of your documents from your home or office anywhere in Dubai, so there are no hidden charges for courier or transportation. If you need express processing (10 days instead of 15), there's an additional fee of AED 200. Simply contact us on WhatsApp to get a customized quote for your specific needs.

Yes, this is one of our main services. We completely handle the submission process on your behalf—you don't need to visit any visa centre or embassy in Dubai. We'll pick up all your documents from your doorstep, prepare and verify everything, and submit your complete application to the official processing centre. You only need to be present for biometric collection (fingerprints) at the VFS Global centre in Dubai, which typically takes 15 minutes. After biometrics, we manage the rest, and once approved, we deliver your stamped passport back to you. This saves you multiple trips and the stress of dealing with embassy procedures.

A single-entry Romania visa allows you to enter the Schengen zone once, and once you exit, the visa expires and cannot be reused. A multiple-entry visa (usually valid for 1 or 5 years depending on approval) lets you enter and exit the Schengen area multiple times during the visa validity period. For tourism, most people get a single-entry tourist visa, but if you plan to visit Romania multiple times or travel to other Schengen countries frequently, a multiple-entry visa is better value. During your application with us, we'll advise which option suits your travel plans, and our team can request multiple-entry status if it benefits your situation, though final approval depends on the embassy's assessment.

If your application is rejected, the embassy provides a rejection letter explaining the reason (insufficient funds, incomplete documents, travel itinerary concerns, etc.). You have the right to reapply, and we strongly recommend addressing the specific reason mentioned in the rejection letter before submitting again. We offer a reapplication service where we'll help you strengthen your application with additional supporting documents—for example, providing more bank statements, a detailed travel itinerary, or a formal invitation letter if that was the issue. There's no additional visa fee for reapplication, only our consultation charges. We'll guide you through the process and significantly increase your chances of approval the second time.

Romania does not offer visa on arrival for most nationalities; you must obtain a Schengen visa before traveling. If you hold a passport from a visa-exempt country (like the USA, Canada, Australia, or GCC nationals), you can enter visa-free for up to 90 days, but this doesn't apply to most Asian, African, or South Asian passport holders. As an expat in Dubai, the safest approach is to apply for your visa in advance from here rather than risk arrival complications. We recommend applying at least 4-6 weeks before your trip to ensure you have your visa well before departure. Contact us via WhatsApp with your nationality and travel dates, and we'll confirm whether you need a visa or qualify for visa-free travel.

Yes, a family member or trusted friend can submit your application on your behalf, but only you (the applicant) can attend the biometric appointment at the processing centre in Dubai—this is a mandatory requirement and cannot be delegated. Your representative can drop off your complete application, but you'll need to visit the VFS Global centre personally for fingerprinting and photo verification, which takes about 15 minutes. This is why many of our clients use our service—we manage the entire submission process, and you only need to make one visit for biometrics. If you're extremely busy, you can authorize us to coordinate everything, and we'll schedule your biometric appointment at a time convenient for you.

Romania does not currently offer an e-visa system; all Schengen visas for Romania are issued as physical sticker visas stamped in your passport. This means your original passport must be submitted to the processing centre, and you'll receive it back with the visa sticker once approved. There is no digital or online-only visa option for Romania travel. Our service includes secure handling of your original passport throughout the application process—we pick it up from you, submit it safely, and deliver it back to your doorstep once the visa is stamped. This physical visa is valid for travel throughout the entire Schengen zone, including Romania, and is recognized by all European border authorities.

Yes, UAE nationals can absolutely apply for Romania visas through our office in Bur Dubai. As a UAE citizen, you'll need your original UAE passport (valid for at least 6 months), proof of residence in Dubai (utility bill or tenancy contract), employment letter if employed, and standard supporting documents like travel insurance, hotel bookings, and bank statements. Processing times and fees are the same as for expats. We offer the same free pickup and delivery service, and you don't need to visit the visa centre yourself—we handle the entire submission. Many UAE nationals prefer using our service to avoid the hassle of multiple visits to the processing centre. WhatsApp us your passport details and travel dates, and we'll prepare your customized application package.
