Great news for UAE residents! VFS Japan has resumed visa applications. Here's everything you need to know to apply for a visa and plan your trip to Japan.
Photos
Ensure your photos are clear, high-resolution, with a white background, and taken within the last 6 months. Attach two photos to the application form (no staples) for nationals of Russia, CIS countries, Ukraine, or Georgia.
Original Passport
Submit your original passport as part of the application.
UAE Visa & Emirates ID Copy
Provide a copy of your UAE visa and Emirates ID.
Air Ticket
Include a copy of your air ticket.
No-Objection Letter (NOC)
The letter from your UAE company must be:
- Original, with either an original stamp or signature.
- Addressed to the Consul-General of Japan in Dubai, including your position and monthly income.
- Originally signed and stamped, with the signatory’s name and designation.
- If you're the owner or partner of the company, you still need an NOC.
- Submit a Salary Certificate issued from the Free Zone if you're an owner sponsored by the Free Zone.
Proof of Financial Means
Provide an updated 3-month salary bank statement with your account name, daily transactions, and balance (online statements are accepted).
