Documents Required for Sweden Visa

• The Embassy requires 15 calendar days to process the visa.
• The application for a Schengen visa, along with the Family Appendix Form, must be completed and signed by each applicant (if it’s not an online application).
• Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of exit from the Schengen area and have a valid UAE residence visa for at least 6 months from the date of visa application submission.
• Your passport must not be older than 10 years and should contain 2 blank opposite pages.
• A birth certificate in English is required for children below 18 years of age.
• Submit the original passport, a copy of the passport, one recent photograph with a white background, and copies of previous Schengen visas.
• Provide a copy of travel arrangements (preliminary flight booking, not paid or confirmed).
• Submit a copy of your bank statement for the last 3 months.
• Provide an original confirmation letter (in English) from your employer, stating your salary, current position, start date at the company, approved leave dates, and purpose of the visit. The letter should be on company letterhead and signed by an authorized person.
• If you are the owner of the company, include a copy of the company trade license.
• Hotel reservation/accommodation details are required for applicants not staying with a reference.
• All documents should be submitted in English.
• Ensure all requirements are completed when visiting the application center. No additional documents can be attached after submission.
• Each applicant must have travel and medical insurance valid for all Schengen countries, with coverage of at least EURO 30,000.

Important Information

• A completed application does not guarantee visa approval. Additional documentation may be requested.
• Travelers from outside the EU must show documents at the border verifying sufficient funds to meet Schengen country requirements.
• A visa does not automatically entitle the holder to enter the Schengen area. Entry rights will be re-evaluated by border authorities.
